6. Once you enter all the information that they request, click on Register. 

7. Now, you will get an OTP code on your smartphone number. 

8. Once you get the OTP, enter the WeChat Pay international app code and hit the Submit button. 

9. Finally, when your account is verified, you must provide a 6-digit PIN code. You must enter This PIN code on the app every time you decide to make a payment.

However, as a sign of grace, you can link multiple credit cards with your WeChat Pay app. Since you sign up to WeChat Pay using a credit card, you will eventually wish to add more credit cards so that you can pay from multiple bank accounts. 

Therefore, if you wish to learn how to use WeChat Pay as a foreigner by linking multiple credit cards to your account, follow these steps: 

1. First, open your WeChat Pay app. 

2. Next, click on Me to open your WeChat profile. 

3. Now, open your WeChat Pay Wallet. 

4. Once you open your wallet, tap on the Bank Card option. 

5. Next, click on the Add New Bank Card option. 

6. Now, you must enter your credit card details on the form that arrives on the screen.

The answer is yes. There is a transaction fee for using WeChat Pay as a foreigner outside China. However, it’s not as high as you think.

If you make payments less than RMB 200 (USD 27.82), then there’s no need to pay any additional transaction fees. However, if the transaction amount exceeds RMB 200, then you must pay a transaction fee of 3%.

For example, if you make payments worth USD 30 using WeChat Pay, you must pay $1 as a transaction fee.
