Before we start talking about the science of getting more likes and becoming an introvert influencer, we want to clarify one thing!

There is no one-time rule for becoming an influencer. This is not a chemistry lab!

This is the internet, where things change every day!

So, the only way to gain more likes on Instagram, especially as an influencer, is to be authentic!

Once you understand this formula, let’s get into the excerpt below!

Can Introverts Really Be an Influencer? 🤔

Can Introverts Really Be an Influencer_

Absolutely! Introverts aren’t excluded from succeeding in influencing either. Being a real-life influencer is more than talking to everybody and being an extrovert; it is authenticity, originality, and being yourself in the public perception. You have all the power! So, do not get afraid and delete your Instagram account. Use your innate introverted personality to be the best influencer.

Have you ever seen the way introverts seem to become great listeners?

As an introvert, this is your greatest asset!

This will help you connect with your audience’s needs and tastes.

In addition, introverts often stand out by developing deep, long-lasting relations and timely and deep articles that others identify with since they are prone to stay away from shallow socialism.

Of course, as an introvert, connecting in person at events with a huge crowd might not ever be your thing, but social media platforms feel like the ideal place for you to share your voice and relate with people from everywhere at a place you find most comfortable.

Finally, you should also understand that being an influencer is not always about scaling up your social life and activities!

Source for the kind of content that makes sense to your audience, whether it is an inspiration or the details of their lives. Know the basic difference between post and story, and what kind of content resonates with your audience. You can do this by writing smart Instagram hard captions, producing videos that evoke emotions, or presenting great photographs.

Therefore, if you have ever, as an introvert, developed the thought of being a social influencer, you can try and achieve this goal. Your unique but true personality is what the world needs to listen to.

The 60-Day Challenge (Once You Are Ready!) 🏆

The 60-Day Challenge (Once You Are Ready!)

Take a deep breath, and let’s jump into the ultimate Instagram engagement challenge, which will spark introverted influences in you.

The First Month! 🗓️

This challenge will be two-fold! First, we will give you the starter pack for the grand beginning. Next month, we will focus on improving your engagement and the science behind getting more likes.

Week 1: 🗒️

Let’s focus on picking a niche and getting your Instagram account started:

Day 1: Find your niche 🖊️As an introvert, I know that not every niche will appeal to me. Therefore, pick one that won’t overwhelm you. (Check notes further down the guide). Today, you should at least jot down your Instagram brand identity.
Day 2: Pick a theme 📔Your Instagram could be a game changer if you follow one aesthetic from the get-go. Afterall, this
Day 3: Decide a posting schedule 📅Create a schedule and stick to it! This way, you know it’s 7 PM GMT, and it’s time to post!
Day 4: Find your muse 🎨Your Instagram could be a game changer if you follow one aesthetic from the get-go. After all, this
Day 5: Open your account 👍Time to open your Instagram account. Before that, have your killer bio and profile picture ready! Remember, that is the first stage of attraction!
Day 6: Post your first grid photo & story 🖼️Grids are great for maintaining your aesthetic! So, post your first grid. It could be a 3-post grid or a 6-post grid.
For your first story, you can post a poll. This will allow your audience to interact from the get-go.
Day 7: Show behind the scenes of your first week🎬Taking them backstage during your first week on Instagram as an influencer may, to some extent, drag your audience into your world by giving them a glimpse into what you are up to.

Week 2: 🗒️

The next week will be about reaching out and finding your audience:

Day 8: Find social media communities to join 👥The introvert influencer community has an opportunity to grow through social networking platforms by joining groups with people who share their interests and expanding the network. Start by exploring communities, platforms, and categories referring to the sphere you are going to be building your home basis on.
Day 9: Take time to find another influencer like yourself 🙋When I was an introverted influencer, I tried to search for another influencer who was like me and already shared my personality traits and values to make a supportive network.
To start, go for the person known to society as an authority or sensation in your interest among the influencers who like you personally. Resorts to social media platforms and networking events in the natural course of events to engage and make bidding events.
Day 10: Try reaching out to them to find better insight ☎️Begin with a personalized message in which you will write about their work and truly express your desire to communicate with them.
Make detailed and well-grounded requests that stress your belief in their ability to support you in achieving your goals. I think you ought to make choices in your communication approaches that you feel comfortable with, either sending a message directly or via email through social media.
Day 11: Take time to answer all your comments 💬This is your chance to connect personally with your followers! Yes, you might not have a plethora of comments to answer for, but do not get disheartened! Today’s ten can turn into a hundred within a month!
Pro tip: As an influencer, it is common to receive hateful comments. They could be people you know or internet trolls you never met. The key is to ignore them completely. Trust me; it is not a criticism of your content but just a means to irritate you.
Day 12: Create a group with your followers 👨🏻‍👩🏻‍👦🏻‍👦🏻Finally, you have enough followers to create a group! When you create an Instagram group with followers, remember to create concrete rules to follow. This will help ward off negativity! Try to interact with everyone regularly and create fun projects to help your content.
However, do not go ahead; start adding your followers. Send a shoutout through your stories, and always find ones who are willing to join.
Day 13: Start utilizing Instagram polls to get more content ideas 📊If the group is not enough, then use your Instagram polls to create the best content!

Create regular polls to find what your audience wants to see. This will increase your chances of engagement!
Day 14: Shoot your very first sit-down video 🎥It is scary, and you are nervous about showing your face. However, remember this: your followers are following you for your content! They have already seen you in pictures, so you won’t be surprised.
Sit down and be your most authentic self. For your first time, it doesn’t have to be a long video. Just a short & sweet one to grow further connections with your audience.

Week 3: 🗒️

If you have been consistently posting for the past two weeks, it is time to give a pat on your back. Step into week three with a sense of accomplishment. This week, you will be talking about your favorites and allowing your followers to get to know you better.

No matter what your niche is, you need to make your audience feel relatable. The entire point of social media is connection. Therefore, consistency doesn’t always mean you must be industrial.

Sharing yourself is also important alongside your content!

Day 15: Talk about your favorite books/movies/series 🍿Find connections with your followers through a shared interest in movies and series!

Are they also re-running Breaking Bad, or are they eagerly waiting for the next season of Bridgerton?
Day 16: Talk about your introversion 🤭The best part about this channel is you will always have people to talk to about your introversion! Maybe it is time to do your next sit-down video, having a heart-to-heart about your introversion.
Day 17: Share a story on your personal growth 📜What personal growth do you care about? If it is something you are proud of, do let your followers know about it!
Day 18: Focusing on showing your fitness goals ﮩـﮩﮩ٨ـ🫀ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـIntroverts are often prone to sensitivity. Excessive exercise routines can make them more exhausted than normal. If your followers face the same issue, why not give them introvert-friendly mindful exercises that do not affect their energy levels so drastically?
Day 19: Share a mindfulness moment 🧘🏻‍♀️Other than exercising, there are other mindful activities that can bring peace to an introvert after a long day of socializing. You can teach your followers some of these points of solace!
Day 20: Post about your favorite quotes & affirmations 🧾❣️Quotes and affirmations hold great power to motivate. You do not know whom you are helping with your affirmations.
In fact, you can make this a daily practice. It will be an anchor for your followers to come back to.
Day 21: Post your very first day in life blog 🤳Today, you will share a full-day blog in your Instagram reels. What a typical day in your life looks like! It doesn’t have to be a thirty-minute video. A maximum of five minutes will suffice to make it informational and aesthetical.

Week 4: 📝

Congratulations! You have reached the final week of the beginning of your Instagram engagement. Now, it is time to step out of your comfort zone.

Day 22: Create a creative challenge for your followers 🎯Start making your interactions fun with the help of fun activities. This could be finishing a book, a series, a workout challenge, or a mindful self-care activity challenge!
Day 23: Start the challenge with your followers 🙏Today is the first day of the challenge!
Day 24: Show your face often while doing the challengeCraft and edit an aesthetic video of you doing that challenge! This will help your followers romanticize the activity and take part in it.
Day 25: Share motivational affirmations or a playlist to keep your followers motivatedShare motivational quotes & playlists that will keep you and your followers going throughout the challenge.
Day 26: Share your progress so far 🏅Update your followers with the progress so far. This way, they know you are with them!
Day 27: Have a Question & Answer session with your followers ❓⁉️This is not just another question-answer session!

This will include talking about that challenge. Suppose you are not comfortable going live yet! How about doing it in your group chat, or you can ask your followers to ask questions in your Instagram story?
Day 28: Arrange your very first give-away 🎁🎉Time to make the challenge fruitful for your followers! You can pick a giveaway prize to two lucky participants who posted their journey and were able to compete in the challenge with you.

We are not adding day 29 & day 30 since we all need a break from social media. Even as an influencer. Especially if you are an influencer who also suffers from social anxiety due to your introversion.

This is your time to reflect on your first thirty days as an influencer!

Plan the rest of the thirty days, which will focus more on getting likes and followers, and MOST IMPORTANTLY! Brand deals!

Month 2: Focus on Getting More Likes

Getting More Likes on Instagram

Now that you have built somewhat of a solid relationship with your followers, it is time to compel them to like all your posts!

Plus, it gets them to share and get more likes from their set of followers!

You do not need more than 10k followers in order to get brand deals. If you are getting enough engagement in your post, then a mere 2k follower count can also get you deals.

It is not about how many followers you have; it is about how much your followers are engaging in your posts. The greater number of likes & comments puts you ahead of your competitors.

So, without any further ado, let’s start with Instagram likes, comments, and sharing shenanigans of the month nombre deux.

The Second Month 🗓️

As explained before, this is going to be the month you get the most likes on your Instagram platform. Likes that can be turned into brand deals!

Week 1: 📝

Day 1: Learn about posting schedule ⏰Did you know there is a specific time for your target audience to come online? If not, you should find these algorithm hacks today. This will help you schedule your post in a way that makes it visible to your audience the moment you post. Don’t get lost in endless scrolls!
Day 2: Dabble into user-generated content 👩🏻‍💻Ask some of your users to post new content related to your brand and tag you. With their permission, you can start posting firsthand reviews of your work over your profile.
Day 3: Up your photography game ˙✧˖°📷 ༘ ⋆。˚The more visually attractive your profile is, the more chances you have of likes. Do not skip good-quality pictures. If needed, start honing some serious photography & videography skills. Instagram is all about visual content!
Day 4: Make reels with a virality effect 🤳🏽Want your reels to go viral? Practice this: A good video, a viral audio, a killer caption. Boom! All your likes will be on your brands.
Day 5: Spend some money on products 🛍️If you wish for your ideal brand to reach you, you must spend some time! Yes, buy a few products and review them on your profile. A brand tag and good engagement help the brand reach out to you.
Day 6: Hashtags are everything #You are already two months into your Instagram influencer journey; it is time to use hashtags properly. Rather than dumping irrelevant ones! Today, begin your pro-hashtag research!
Day 7: Enhance your copywriting skills 📚💻✍🏼📓Today is the day when you post anything. Rather, you go through some of the viral social media copywriting pieces and take notes. What are they doing in their captions that readers can’t take their eyes off? Is it the shock factor? The promise of a solution? Or plain wordplay?

Week 2: 📝

Day 8: Collaborate 🤝I know! I know! There is nothing scarier than that word as an introvert. But there is a cheat code to it. First, repost from the profiles with whom you would wish to collaborate. Second, give them credit every time you do so.
Third, after a week of alternate reposting, reach out to talk about your admiration for their work. Fourth, keep the conversation up for a few days before asking for a collaboration.
Remember, collaboration is not just a weapon to build platforms; it is your means to create healthy online friendships. Therefore, stop sending out “Hi! Wanna collab.” Change your method!
Day 9: Host your first live 📽️Now that you have an intermediate number of followers, it is time to host your very first live. It could be scary, showing your face. This is why I want you to build a rapport with your followers through constant communication. This way, it wouldn’t make you feel like you are speaking to total strangers. Do not get disheartened if you do not have too many attendees on your first time – remember, this is just your first. Today is the day you challenge your stage fright!
Day 10: Track your progress 🛤️This day, you begin to track your progress on Instagram. This starts with a thorough understanding of Instagram analytics. What is the demography of your followers?
The age group who interacts in your post.
Is your channel more kid-friendly or attracting adults from different professions? If yes, then which profession? Is your channel a professional advice channel or a slice of life? Pro Tip: Do not give professional advice if you are not an expert yourself.
Day 11: Use Personal Storytelling 🗣️Your audience must relate to following your story. Whenever you find a storyline, do share it with your audience.
Day 12: Answer a few more comments 📢It won’t be easier since you will be getting more comments than at the beginning of your Instagram journey. Carefully construct each reply and make your followers feel special.
Day 13: Dabble into risky waters 🧟‍♀️Today, you will create something that you initially weren’t very comfortable with. For example, you can create a home video-type blog where you show your face the entire time.
Day 14: Reflect on your content 🪞You are almost halfway to being a full-on influencer. Today is the day you sit and reflect. Answer a few of these questions! Why am I doing this? Am I enjoying this journey? Am I doing it just the virality? Am I being my absolute authentic self? The answers will be crafted to your own perception. Therefore, sit & reflect on these answers.

Week 3: 📝

This week, you will reach out to companies for potential brand deals!

Day 15: Know Your Worth 👨🏻‍🎨Prior to contacting brands, try to see the perspective of others and make sure that you have something valuable to offer them. Do a thorough analysis of engagement rate (if your audience responds better when you post videos or images), audience demographics, and quality (the more people comment, like, or follow you, the better). This will also let you know how to bargain for fair pay when the need arises.
Day 16: Identify Relevant Brands 🔖Emphasize brands that coincide with your niche and with your target audience. Create your own personal vision, mission, and brand values to guide your interactions with prospective employers.
Search for companies whose products or services you often find pleasure in using and would, therefore, naturally include in your posts. Remember those products you bought & reviewed; it’s time to utilize the engagement from those videos.
Day 17: Start Engaging Authentically 🫂Initiate dealing with brands via their Instagram posts by interacting and liking posts of their choice. Show genuine likes, comment, and share their posts. By doing so, you will be more likely to be noticed, and your target will associate with you from the moment you reach out.
Day 18: Craft a Personalized Pitch 💻Today, you will work on your best pitch! When approaching brands, you need to individualize your email to show them that it is not only about chasing profits but also the real need for their products or services. Highlight causes and factors that give credence to the facts that your brand will appeal to the audience.
Day 19: Use Email or Direct Messages 📧Now, before you send an email, I would suggest learning a little more about email marketing and how to catch attention through killer copywriting.
See, as an influencer, it is not just about regular posts. You must learn digital marketing along the way! The trick is to advertise oneself, and often, you do not have to show yourself! (…perfect for an introvert!)
Day 20: Provide Examples 🎟️This is the day you finally reach out to your favorite brands! So, you need to make a great impression! Add links to your best-performing content or create a media kit with the number of your audience as demographics, engagement data, and past collaborations as present.
This implies the presence of knowledge about you in their field. If you have a business yourself, you can also dabble in b2b influencer marketing.
Day 21: Follow Up Politely 📇Once you have given it a fine 24 hours to marinate, it is time to follow up! If you do not get a reply at first, don’t be upset; it is not the end of the world, and you can still find a solution. I have always had a thought in my mind. Reiterate your desire for collaboration and make a point to provide other info required.

Week 4: 📝

Congratulations! You have reached your final week as a beginner. Now, with this rulebook handy, you know exactly what to do now!

Now, in the final week, we will be focusing more on getting over your stage fright.

Yes, it is time for your very first MEET & GREET!

Day 22: Set Clear Objectives 📌Let’s not be hasty! I can understand you are nervous, but planning the right thing is very important! First, understand your goals.
Whether it is to engage with your followers, advertise the item you offer, or just build up the community, you need to know the purpose that you wish to achieve with it.
Clearly establishing your goals will provide direction for your planning.
Day 23: Choose a Theme and Venue 🛋️There is a possibility that most of your followers will be introverted as well! So, while choosing a venue, you need to make them feel comfortable! How about you look for venues that will give you the required space and ensure the environment is friendless to introverts, like a tiny cafe or a quiet park, among others?
Day 24: Create Engaging Content 🎭They are a bunch of introverts, scared of one-to-one communication! How can you engage your audience during your meet & greet? Create and plan games, Q&A, and other activities that are introvert-friendly!
Day 25: Prepare Logistics 📋Although it is all exciting, you must think about logistics too! Make logistical arrangements involving sending invitations for seating and good refreshments, and guarantee accessibility for all the attendees.
Consider the introvert’s needs and the ways they can be met, e.g., special sections or alternative means of communication.
Day 26: Advertise your Meet & Greet 🗞️You must advertise the h*** out of your meet & greet! This is to ensure everyone knows about it. Plus, followers in your locality are willing to join. However, stop promoting it as a big event. That could scare a lot of people. Make it cozier, like a friendly get-together.
Promote the event by sharing eye-catching graphics or videos. Apart from this, motivate your followers to say “Yes” or show their interest.
Day 27: Finally! Hosting day! 🎙️Take a deep breath, and don’t forget to smile! Remember, even if it is a party of three, they are here for you! While at the meeting, participate fully and include your attendees so that they feel welcome.
Make people feel more at ease and help them open by providing an opportunity for dialogue, listening to their tales and wisdom, and setting an inviting atmosphere that is accepting and inclusive.
Don’t forget that it is a chance to interconnect with your followers through personal relationships. Pro tip: Go live during your meet and greet to allow your followers to attend (the ones who are not local)!
Day 28: Time to Follow-Up and Feedback 🙂😐🙁🤩Finally, a thank you note should be sent out to all attendees right after the meeting, and feedback from their attendance is highly encouraged.
